| Industry
Industry covers a large range of sites,
and we've selected a few key ones below. Typically industry sites are competing directly
with other sites selling similar products or services, so they often end up looking the
same.
We design sites to promote your
difference. Often the difference is in the way a product is made, or the after sales
service, or in the quality of the product itself. But at the end of the day you want
to promote that fact, to make sure your customer knows you stand above your competitors.
Seifried - http://www.seifried.co.nz
Seifried are one of Nelson's longest
established wineries and have been producing award-winning wines for decades.
They wanted to raise their profile and
support their distributors work both overseas and in New Zealand. With this in mind we
developed a site that gave viewers access to a wealth of information about Seifried and
the success of their wines, but also gave more in-depth detail about them in the form of a
wine library and tasting notes. The site was designed to tie in with their new print
branding, and further develop their brand image.
Lakeland Steel Products Ltd - http://www.lakelandsteel.co.nz
Rotorua-based Lakeland produce a wide
range of heavy machinery for the timber industry. They wanted to raise their profile
to the timber trade both nationally and internationally.
We helped to develop their branding for
the web, with a lively eye-catching colour scheme based on the colours of their machinery,
and used bold blocks of colour reflective of their big butch product range. We also
included photos of the most popular items in the menubar both to reiterate what they
produce and aid viewers navigation to products with names that may be unfamiliar.
Nelson Fruit Services - http://www.nelsonfruit.co.nz
NFS are a fruit logistics company, based
in Nelson. They source, pack and transport quality fruit worldwide, making sure it gets to
the supermarket shelf in premium condition, keeping both the grower and the shopkeeper
happy. To ensure they get consistently high quality fruit to begin with, they support
growers by administering Orchard Business Groups, QA and Lab services.
With recent deregulation, they wanted to
raise their profile to growers and buyers but also to provide an additional service to
their growers with up to date season information in a members only section.
Amaltal Fishing Company
- http://www.amaltal.co.nz
Amaltal are New Zealand's third largest
fishing company and are based in Nelson. We designed their first website back in
1998. They wanted to refresh their website in line with new paper-based marketing, so came
back to us.
The brief was to give information about
their product range and company, and to further promote their professional image within
the industry. We achieved this by combining subtle elements of their branding with their
stunning photographs.
